The job he settles on is a bartender. Although it’s not the best job, it would pay him well. From five in the afternoon, until 3 at dawn, Paul works at his new job. He meets new people and sees a new side of the world that he had never seen before. Each night, he makes friends with different people, as he stops to listen to their stories, disappointments, and problems, while making them drinks.
Two years pass since the day Paul quit his education. One day, a dear professor from his past medical school comes to visit Paul’s workplace. He advises Paul to restart his education once more at their college, that it is not too late to start again. Paul is appreciative of the offer but tells him that he will not be returning to medical school. Instead, Paul explains his newly developed interest in politics and the needs of the citizens. Throughout his experience at the bar, he has heard various stories from his customers about the problems within the country. He had gained a new ambition to change his society. Later on, Paul returns to an university, where he studies politics to become a successful governor who works hard to listen to the opinions of his citizens.
